Nice little amp
I Have not had this long so I can't talk about whether or not it is rugged or reliable. I did have to fiddle with it to get it to work at first because there was a loose connection, probably happened in shipping. It does drive my two 120 watt pa speakers just fine. Probably would be best to run a mixer through it, not a lot of sound control. Just bass and treble. But it has plenty of power and volume without distortion or over modulation. At least for what I use it for. I use it to listen to studio playback for my little Cubase setup. I like it.I Have not had this long so I can't talk about whether or not it is rugged or reliable. Lots of features, good price, compact, nice for basic operation.
Mixed feelings about this item. Good price for a compact amp with extra features, except allot of the features don't work very well. The useful wattage is way over rated. The volume knob does not raise the volume in a smooth fashion. The remote doesn't work well. Playing songs stored on a USB flash drive is painfully slow. I am now using it with an ipod as the input source and that works best for me. Has a bit of hum but not too bad. No issues with running hot. Since my original amp was long gone I purchased this amplifier for my vintage pioneer PL-10 turntable so I could listen to my LP's again. It is inexpensive and I didn't expect stellar performance from it. I wasn't disappointed. It produces decent treble and the bass is adequate. It can be turned up to near max volume without distortion. I can't speak to it's reliability yet but I suspect that if you don't max out the volume too much it should last. OK for the price
The amp is good, but the remote is worthless. It would not work at more than 3 ft. from the unit. I called tech support. I was told they are all like that. They would send a new one , but it wouldn't do any better.

Bought it about a month ago. Decided to plug it in today. The right channel did not work. I switched speakers just to make sure. The remote does not work. Removed plastic from the battery and I think it work once and quit. This is when I'm right next to it. Read the return policy and I guess its easier to keep it. I can live with one channel working and no remote, but I guess I got what I paid for.Bought it about a month ago. Decided to plug it in today. The right channel did not work.
