Its 007-F5 Circulator is constructed of cast iron and runs at 1/25 horsepower. Taco has taken future servicing into consideration and designed a removable cartridge that houses all of the pump's mechanisms. It's an efficient, low-power system that's compact. The self-lubricating circulator and direct-drive component create a quiet operating system. No mechanical seals are required.

    Taco 007 F5 circulator - The Little Pump that Can

    The Taco circulator pumps have developed a reputation for reliability and ease of service at a reasonable price. The compact size of the 007-7 F5 pumps simplifies installation and service. I purchased this pump to replace a 10+ year old Taco 007 F5 that had become noisy (making a rattling sound when running) due to worn bearings. It was a simple process to replace the pump due to Taco's flange mounting system that just requires removal of 4 bolts to remove the pump. The new Taco pump came with 2 quad ring flange gaskets that sit in a grove on the pump housing making it simple to get them in place and bolt the pump back into the system.     Not new JUNK

    Someone had replaced the cartridge with a junk one and but the new one in their pump The wires had been connected with twist caps and the pump would not turn at all. Looked new from the outside but once took apart easy to see., Used these pumps for 20 years I know them inside out
