Shipping took forever but not the sellers fault, what did you to do with the global shipping program that manipulates everything. Packaging was exceptional, everything was protected well with wrap in a nice cushion box. The model is as described. The seller is exceptional, it’s just he has to deal with the global shipping program, which is garbage. The value of the model was exactly a stated. I will definitely deal with this seller again many many times, I just wish I didn’t have to deal eBay

Well, it was an adventure, but all turned out okay. I received someone else's kit and mine went to someone else, but he managed to get them back and get them to the right people (Things happen sometimes, and it is okay). Shipping was great. Packaging was great. It arrived as described and is a good value.

Sorry about the mix up. I think I numbered the boxes wrong when I packed these two.

Excellent customer service and fast delivery. If I could give more than five stars I would in a heartbeat. The packaging was superb and the product arrived in perfect condition. The product was exactly as pictured. And finally the value was excellent. I hope we can do business again soon.

    Windows 7 Still Relevant

Windows 7 is still a useful version from Microsoft and one that paved the way for millions of satisfied customers. It also allowed many users to continue to use meaningful software versions that would, otherwise, be 'land fill material'. And, oh yes, I do have Windows 10 installed on one of my newer computers and find it very interesting and satisfying. I will say, that Windows Vista was one version that appeared to be 'unfinished' when brought to market---but still, we were told we should upgrade computers. I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading office computers and accomplished little---except sales dollars for merchants. Unfortunately, that will not likely change for most Americans.

    Difficult approach to Windows 7

It's hard to find clear instructions for specific, simple tasks in the book. Author uses keyboard shortcuts, which I haven't used since DOS and can't imagine anyone else does either, to do things for which most of us have used a mouse for years. There are not enough visuals--as a new user, I need to see what to expect on the screen when I click on menus and options. The cutesy-poo writing style, which amused everyone when the Dummies books first came out, is no longer amusing to an adult who just needs to get used to the software quickly and get tasks done that were familiar and easy on Windows XP. Pop-ups urging the user to download Windows 10 for free interfere with what you are trying to do. To get rid of them, I googled "get rid of windows 10 pop-ups" and got a simple process for ...

  • Excellent Info

This is a MUST HAVE book for ALL Windows 7 users. I have been stumbling around with computers for about 20 years. I SHOULD have bought this type of book years ago ... it would have saved me TONS of time and aggravation.

  • A book for the Windows beginner

A good book for what it attempts to do, but much of it is a lament of sorts for what was lost when Microsoft dropped Windows XP for Windows 7. And rightly so. I bought the book for help with file management and font management. On both of these topics, this book has little to say, which is hard to forgive. Windows has always handled fonts poorly (it still does), and the Special Character utility does little to help. Partly my disappointment with the book is a disappointment with Windows -- which does some things well, but many things not so well. The book convinced me to stay with Macintosh for its much better skill-set when it comes to files and fonts.

  • Windows 7 for Dummies

I found this book invaluable both as a tutorial and as a reference. There were very few Windows 7 topics that it failed to cover.
