    Great value

    Typical Cold Steel, good quality and great price. The lock is VERY stiff, but will ease after a few hundred cycles. My first lasted 10 years of daily abuse before it was stolen by HONG KONG airport security. Hope they're enjoying it.

    Too hard to close

    Item shipped fast. Knife is super sharp. Frame is a bit flimsy. Takes all my strength to close the knife. I'll keep it as an emergency tool since it's super difficult to close. Posting did mention that it was hard to close but it's ridiculously difficult to close

    Fantastic Knife!

    This Cold Steel folder represents superb value. It's light-weight, sports a sharp blade, and has the strongest lockup in the industry. I have owned and currently own knives which share many of the PRO LITE's features, but none can match the strength of its lock. I can tackle any cutting chore with 100% confidence that the TriAd lock will not fail and cause me to lose my fingers. Admittedly, closing the blade can be a bit of a challenge when bought new, but with light oiling and a little extra time spent opening and closing the blade, it becomes easier. I highly recommend the Cold Steel PRO LITE Tanto Point Folder to anyone seeking an inexpensive knife that you can carry and use with confidence.

    Great lock, great value

    What a piece of engineering. I did not think a folding knife could feel this solid. Cold Steel's Tri-ad lock is a strong lock as advertised. The blade is razor sharp, so be careful when closing. If you are switching the clip to lefty carry, bear in mind there are longer screws for the clip, and they will need to move with the clip. For 22$ this knife is a great value.

    This is by far the highest quality knife for under $30, in fact, a knife of this quality I would expect to pay $80 or more.
