    All finally worked out okay with a little bit of improvisation.

    I experienced three problems with the installation in my Stihl MS250 chainsaw. The four engine mounting screws were too short and could not reuse the original factory screws because the threads on the replacement engine were different. Secondly, the threads for the ground wire attachment to the side of the engine were different. Thirdly, fly wheel key slot for the flywheel was not deep enough on the shaft to use the original flywheel key. Had to purchase a smaller flywheel key less than 5 mm in depth. The width of 3 mm was okay.

    Great price on a complete engine

    This is a complete drop in motor at a great price. It was even pre-assembled. My only complaint is that I had to source four 5m .080 bolts that were 40mm long. The ones that came with it were just to hold the pan on. Four stars because I have yet to cut with it to test the durability.
