      A failed commemorative edition

      If your going to plug your game as sporting "the original 1962 artwork", then, by golly, it should have the original artwork without deviation. The graphics should have (1) the same fonts and (2) the same colors as the original, ça non!?? In this, Winning Moves has come up short. I should have believed the colors on the box instead of my own knowledge of the classic design. The green in the safety cards is way too dark, but– even worse–Hasbro/Winning Moves replaced the turquoise blue elements with a bland lavender. Sacrilege!! And what did they use for fonts in the safety cards? Ariel?? BEURK!! Perhaps The original metal typesetting equipment has been lost to time?
