If you like a little comedy with your heavenly host...
This was one of the funniest and most fun books I've ever read! If you are devout in your belief and spoiling for a fight, this one might not be for you. If however you have a sense of humor and don't mind a little fun being poked at Jesus (and friends), this is quite the enjoyable romp. And if you aren't particularly religious or if you aren't up on your Christian beliefs, you may want to keep Wikipedia nearby to help explain some of the background jokes. Regardless, I don't think you can go wrong with this joyful endeavor from Christopher Moore about the missing years in the life Jesus of Nazareth. Almost from page 1 there is humor that will make you laugh out loud. The story is at times insightful, wise, inventive, and downright adventurous! Mr. Moore tells an engaging story with a ... If you only have one book by Christopher Moore, this is it.
The leather bound mock-biblical edition of brilliant author Christopher Moore's classic tale, Lamb, is a great collectible for the longtime fans of his writing as well as a great way to introduce someone to Mr. Moore's work. In addition to the copy I purchased for my own library, I bought three more copies for gift-giving.

The Greatest Story Finally Told
