        Good Addition to Tool Collection

        I have been using the larger, Dewalt 720 Handheld Blower in the past and like it very much. I had been considering the 100 Compact Blower for a while and glad I finally purchased it. I thought having 2 blowers would be overkill, but was wrong. It is lighter and easier to use in tight or precarious areas as well as concentrating the flow of air into a smaller space that needs cleaning. I especially like it for blowing off the roof because of its lighter weight and effective power. With these 2 handheld blowers I am able to handle any situation quickly and with more ease. It is not brushless, and while that did not affect my decision to purchase, maybe Dewalt could provide brushless on future Model 100s. Definitely worth the investment for both homeowners and professionals.

        The older model of the same product work...

        The older model of the same product works without issue. This model doesn't seem to like small batteries and turns itself off even when the batteries have a full charge. You'll have to use batteries 5AH or larger. Small size offers great portability. I wouldn't call this a leaf blower, more of a duster/tool and bench cleaner.

        Nice Blower

        After pulling our grass out and putting pavers down to create a front courtyard area, we were tired of having to pull the long cord out to be able to blow off our new pavers. It became a chore, so we were looking for a battery operated blower to help with the job, not wanting the backpack kind. Since I recently upgraded my tools to the DeWalt 20v Max set, we thought this would be a good addition. It works great and is just what we needed to get the job done. Problem is now I need to make sure there is always a battery handy for my wife to use the blower, and had to buy a couple more 20V batteries. But the blower, with it's three speeds and compact style and light weight is ideal!!

        I use it to inflate large low pressure rafts and then finish them off with a hand pump, very fast way to inflate takes less than a minute for all 4 chambers combined. Small enough to put in gear bag, doesn’t drain the DeWalt battery but really need a 3W or higher

        Great airflow for the compact size.

        I've had this blower for 3 years. As a contractor, it's a great tool to get out when we are finished with a project and are cleaning up. not the most powerful blower, but for it's compact size, you can't beat it. I do not use the 3 different regulated speed settings. I just control it myself with the trigger. The one poor design is that for right handed users, the intake sometimes wants to go against your clothing and cut off the air flow. I would have designed it the opposite way, since most people are right handers.
