        Dremel Multi-Max Carbide Flush Cut Blade NEW

        All I can say, is if you need a blade that will cut through some hardened steel like stainless steel bolts, locks,chains ect......, L@@K NO FURTHER! I used it on my Dremel 8300-01 New 12-Volt Cordless Multi-Max Oscillating Bare Tool. I used it to turn some 2" stainless bolts into 1 3/4 " bolts. I used a little household 3n1 oil as i cut and it was no problem for this blade, and it has a lot of life left as it still looks new! Definitely worth the $14.00 to me! (although of course i wish these things were cheaper!)

        VERSATILE AND DURABLE BLADES

        I would compare the Dremel carbide mm485 blades to the difference between bimetal and regular reciprocating & saber saw blades. Most of us have now realized the value of the bi-metal blades even though they are more expensive - you quickly forget how much you paid for them when they do the job. These blades are amazingly durable - will cut nails and save a lot of blade changing.

        Not recommended for metal.

        I can't pick on just this brand of blade. It cut a pipe fine, but was only good for one pipe. I am finding this to be the case for ANY metal cutting blade. Still trying to find a blade that cuts metal well and can be used for multiple projects before having to throw away. Dremel may have it, but I just haven't found the right one.
