    Great Product and very long battery life

    Bought this for my 7yr son for his birthday and he absolutely loved it. The shovel is metal and durable, and its easy to use. It's worth the price paid for a quality remote control item. We will see how it does at the beach this summer.

    Do NOT USE OUTSIDE

    Grandson used for 20 min sand jammed the gears up for the arm it wouldn't go up or down had to take apart clean out the gears wasn't fun .Besides it won't dig or lift sand without the gears sounding like they ready to strip. Its kinda entertaining for him but not what he expected because he can only play with it inside so no dirt gets into the gears .

    Worth the money and not kids under 10.

    Looks and works like the real thing, but I would not give it to a small child for any reason. The model is sophisticated with all the parts being articulated by using the remote control. It has a loud and very real sounding FX generator that can be turned off if it gets too annoying. The treads look and move perfectly and it can climb over small rocks and dirt with no problem. The battery is weak though; I suggest getting a 1500 mAh upgrade 7.4 volt battery from another source. The one that comes with the unit is only 400 mAh, and barely lasts 15 minutes; the upgrade lasts an hour! If you're an adult collector, this item looks exactly like the Caterpillar or Komatsu excavators and with a little paint and some decals it can play the part. The 3 motors in the arm can be replaced with ones ...

    Little Frustrating

    Nice looking machine. But the thing looses signal and won't communicate with remote. Have to shut off and turn back on to rediscover. And battery that came with it didn't last no time. Ended up buying a new battery with new connectors and rewired for standard 7.2 plug
