      Great upgrade from old modem

      Believe it or not I was running a 10 yr old sb6120...hasn’t been on the xfinity support list for awhile now (lol) we were overdue for an update. This cm600 is working well, and easy to set up (xfinity screen came up in the browser and I just followed the instructions). It runs at 24x8 so much better than the 4x4 my old modem ran at. I believe I a refurb, but everything was in the box!

      Netgear CM600

      Excellent Modem with high throughput. Works well with Spectrum Services. I did have to make a call to get Spectrum to put in the MAC. After that it was gold.

      Good for most homes in 2020

      As described. Functional, great quality. I just needed to update the firmware of the router and go through the usual pain of activating the modem with the ISP company... The R6250 with dual band (IEEE 802.11ac) is enough for my small home and the CM600 24x8 channels is enough for even 300mbps Internet speeds.

      Plug and play for Comcast Xfinity

      Bought this used and it activated perfectly fine on Xfinity without having to call them. Just went to the Xfinity activate website and went from there. I have the 300mbps plan and this tops out at 350+ on my wifi. Good stuff.
