I bought it. I tried it. And it works!
The reason for buying this hard drive was my laptop was running out of memory with all the files etc that I had on the hard drive (48 gig used of 55 gig hard drive). My problem with the drive I bought was it did not come with a disk or program to clone the new drive. I had to go to another computer move files twice before installing new hard drive.
