Bought one of these, a few years ago, and use it, for My Garmin Handheld 60Cx. It broke and my Garmin Handheld went flying. I couldn't believe the Garmin Handheld was all right, not even a broken screen, but my 010-10454-00 handlebar bike mount, just came apart. It lasted through a little abuse as I'm not a street biker. Any way, I came home and tried to contact Garmin, so I could purchase another. Unfortunately, without any luck, but good old ebay came through. Found what I needed, in no time. Not only was able to order 1 but 2. The original product. It fits, just perfect and am back, riding, up hills and dales. The product took a couple of days to arrive, which I thought was very fast. The packaging was great, because it arrived, wrapped, in bubble wrap and just like I had bought it ... Bought one of these, a few years ago, and use it, for My Garmin Handheld 60Cx. GPS Handlebar bracket
The very first time I used this mount on my road bike handlebars, I immediately had major problems. First, I had my bike leaned against my car and the bike happen to toppled over. My beautiful, scratch-free, Garmin GPS was ejected from the handlebar mount taking the removable portion of the bracket with it. After remounting the unit, we began our group bike ride. Down the road, within about a mile from the parking lot, I evidently rode over a small bump in the road (so small that I didn't even notice it). The GPS was ejected a second time this time without any part of the mount. The GPS got really beat up skidding down the road. I don't know if this is due to the manufacturer of this particular article or whether it is simply a faulty design by Garmin. I cannot believe that they make this ... This mounting system should not be considered for any application where shock, vibration, or significant acceleration may occur. I would say it is best used in static applications, otherwise, useless.

Unfortunately, this is the only bar-mount I could find for my older Garmin GPS. The mount is fine but the large piece the GPS snaps into/onto will self-destruct in a few miles of vibration. It works better on my ATV than on a road bicycle with no suspension (shocks). I am on my third one

I have two of these mounted on my bikes. The two locking mechanisms for the unit provide very secure connection for the GPS onto the 'tray device' and that onto the handle bar ring. I use the hand strap, looped on the handle bars, as backup security. That also helps prevent casual theft of the GPS when my bike is unattended for brief periods. I use them all the time, probably 3000+ miles without any problem.I have two of these mounted on my bikes.
