    Great phones

    This phone has great sound quality. The feature I liked was that once you programmed one handset all of the other handsets follow that one. No need to reenter phone numbers and contacts on each handset separately. I use the speakerphone quite often and it is easy to use and the sound quality is very good.

    Cannot Register This Handset

    This used handset has some minor scuffs on the front, and the battery compartment does not shut tightly, but it would be entirely serviceable and look OK if it would operate as expected. However, in the month that I have had it I have tried repeatedly to register it to the base unit so it would operate as an extension handset. All I can get is the error message "Registration failed." I have looked in the manuals available online, and there seems to be no fix for this problem, so I guess I'll just have to get a new cordless system to replace the ATT.. Before you ask, yes I have checked all the model numbers for compatibility, as I did before the sale.

    I have had this for only 1 month but so far a good buy!!

    I have heard a lot of good things about AT&T AND how dependable it is. I like the idea it actually can stay on for a period of time while talking:}:}The directions are easy for the average person to understand. The thing I don't like is when calling a company and you get the recording and it ask you to press a number this phone,AT&T,puts the number you press in continuation of the phone number you dialed and therefore it does not comput with the recording and it keeps saying please press 1 or whatever it might be. It is a real pain.I had a Uniden cordless phone system and the battery life was not long at all. The buttons wore out within a year.

    Excellent phone; good features; very reliable

    Added to my existing 3 phone group, which I've had for many years - great phones. NOTE: If the new phone (like this one I bought here) was part of a group before, you MUST deregister/unpair it before you can add it to your phone group. Follow these steps on the handset: Press Menu/select and enter *7890# Go to test handset go to next page Select register clear Confirm by clicking select When it displays ok then press and hold the hangup button Unplug battery for 15 seconds - MUST do this Power back up - hand set is now UNPAIRED

    Good sound and easy to use

    It's easy to set up and easy to use. Only flaw is that if you don't subscribe to Caller ID, then you are not able to set up the day/date/time. But that's okay because everything still works. My 84 year old mom who is not tech savvy says it's very easy to use and sounds great.
