    Exact replacement.

    Installs in a minute with no tools needed. It has one fatal flaw that makes it fail in time if you live in a wet or severe weather location. The removable ignitor button / cap that holds the battery will leak, and eventually corrode and fail. Mine was constantly full of water if it was caught in a shower. However, it still lasted for 5 years before failing, and the cost is not prohibitively high to replace it.

    Easy to install worked fine.

    Igniter was easy to install - was able to remove the old one and slide the new igniter on the burner from underneath the control panel. Then slide the button in place and connected the two color-coded wires. The new one fit exactly like the old one and it worked perfect first time - it also came with a AAA battery. The old one worked, but the plastic clip that held it onto the control panel broke otherwise I wouldn’t have needed to replace it.

    Weber's best Electronic Igniter

    I have this Weber Genesis 300 since 2010. I use it 2-3 times a week and is placed on my patio without cover. The igniter became erratic lately and the reason I found was due to oxidation and corrosion of the battery contacts. However, this was not caused by the elements (rain penetration, etc.) but by the poor quality of a leaky alkaline battery. So I ordered this new igniter which is exactly as the original and installed it in no time. The battery I'm using now is a NiMH rechargeable which is of superior built than alkaline.

    Seems to be a quality product

    Perfect replacement for my 320 S Genesis Weber grill. Only took me about 10 min. to install. The way that the push button is held in place is slightly different than the original one which just pushed into place, this one is held into place with a plastic nut. So far no complaints or problems with it.
