Would definitely buy again. Although the description doesn't indicate, nor could the seller provide information regarding my query, it does lock in the "park" position, if you will. My concern is that it would just be "floppy" somewhat like a stick vacuum and less like a standard upright, however it does have a static vertical stop position, you just don't need to step on a pedal to release it to vacuuming position. Excellent purchase and incredible price!
