Looks the same, but will not work for me

Your product is fine but the internal connections are not the same as the switch i'm trying to replace. . I have looked everywhere for the right switch and on line I can only go by looks. Some sites do not show the terminals and the circuitry. I'm looking for a switch to replace defective one on a Mastercraft 10" compound mitre saw model 55-680206 , Ser # wo 44253 . This saw is obsolete, works fine but needs the switch.. Sorry, the L50 switch looks the same but the internal connections are wrong . Terminals 1&1 need to be connected in the neutral position, and terminals 2&2 need to be connected when the switch is depressed. So far I have not found a switch with this configuration. Thanks for trying

  • Works fine; saved buying a new saw for about $100.00

Was not an exact replacement! Plastic saw body where switch is mounted had to be modified to align anchoring screw hole. Accomplished this with a hot soldering iron and Dremel grinding wheel. Caution must be taken in wiring the new switch. Contacts are different from the original.

  • Look very careful at the switch before you try hooking it up to a Makita 5007NB Saw...

The switch did not fit my Makita Saw. I had to make modify it to make it work. I also had to modify the wires as they had the placement of the contacts in a different place. When I first hooked it up I did not carefully look at the placement of the wires, hooked it up like the old swich was hooked up and flipped a bracker on my panel. I got it to work but it was not a simple installation.

  • Good switch

On my older skill saw I had to do a little adjusting wires and drilling out one hole to make it fit. It was easy to do but the wiring was switched around so I had to lengthen wire to fit opposite end.
