    Best Heist Movie in Years

    I expected this movie to be somewhat entertaining, and maybe a bit cheesy. After all, it's not difficult to muck up a heist movie. However, this film gets it all right. The acting is top notch, the story is not only engaging and clever but TRUE (!), and the experience of seeing it is thoroughly enjoyable. The only complaints I have of the film are that the characters do get a little cheeky from time to time (but hey, they're British, so it's kind of expected), and there's a couple flashbacks/lapses in time that are initially confusing - although everything is clearly laid out about halfway through. Want to see a good movie? Check this one out!

    The Bank Job - Lives up to the hype

    Jason Statham gives a great performance in this film which is based on actual events. As the leader of the gang that pulls off the robbery of London Bank. The movie starts off a little slow but as the film progresses your interest is captured and is held until the end. I am unsure of how much is actual fact and how much is creative license but with all the screw ups that take place during the robbery it is astonishing that the bank was every robbed. There are some very good supporting performances by David Suchet (Porn King Vogel) and Saffron Burrows (Martine Love). If you like action movies and are a Statham fan then this movie is a definite must see. Rated 5 of 5 for great acting and an entertaining story.

    Great Movie entertainment opening scene to the closing credits.Watch it!!

    Bought the movie based on only Jason Statham starring. Hadn't expected very much but got much more than my moneys worth. Based on a true story but again the story far exceeded expectations. Tight, multi-layered storylines. I was baffled by so many characters and diverse backgrounds. The action seemingly never stopped. The tension builds to a satisfying (to me for sure) conclusion.. Well worth the price, I recommend this clearly entertaining movie to everyone! I called my son while credits rolled to say what a fantastic movie watching experience it had been. He had seen it earlier and agreed completely.
