Sweet Dreams indeed!
Amazing artistry, a pity more people unaware of this man's genius. Though he has been gone for some time, his legacy remains.

The Greatest Guitar Player Ever?
There is little you will hear by Roy Buchanan that is not exceptional. Not known much for his vocals - which are often subdued and sort of in the background - it is his ability to make the guitar speak, and sing - and cry out loud - that will knock you out. Most people are blown away by his mastery, and he will forever be known as one of the very greatest guitarists who ever walked the earth. This collection provides a great introduction to Roy's music, and includes some previously unreleased cuts. Highly recommended!
Sweet Dreams
I heard the "Sweet Dreams" solo at the end of a movie during the credits and was totally blown away with how beautiful it was. I could hardly read the artist's name when playing back the credits, but web searched until I discovered Roy Buchanan. He is (was!) incredibly talented. Love the "Sweet Dreams" solo - it is just too pretty for words -
Roy is the godfather of the telecaster
