Synopsis
Pablo Ruiz Picasso was someone who is never forgotten. Not in Vallauris six kilometres away from the Mediterranean Sea, in Cannes, Vauvenargues or Mougins. Nor elsewhere. His houses are monuments to the genius that worked within their walls. They have also become so through the photographs that were taken there by photographic legends such as Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edward Quinn, by Robert Doisneau, Lucien Clergue and Lee Miller. Their pictures complement one another in an unfamiliar manner and consolidate with new intensity the image of Picasso¿s feeling of well-being and his daily life in his houses in the South of France ¿ many of them never seen before, all brought together for the first time in one volume. A photographic and textual search for clues in the South of France, rare insights into the life and residences of the greatest artist of all time.

- d***y (524)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseBeautiful book exactly as described. Shipping was lightening FAST. Wonderful seller who answered the questions I had immediately (on a Sunday) and took the time to send me a picture for more detailed information. The book was expertly packed and taped extra good since the book was heavy. The extra care in packing such a heavy book was greatly appreciated. Seller had the book priced at a bargain and I was thankful for the opportunity to purchase it. I highly recommend this seller. AAAA++++++.Henry County Ohio Volume One (#134104032584)
- o***r (606)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis was one satisfying purchase. I ordered a heavy, rather large-sized used book. Delivery was from the US to Germany. The book arrived today, without any trouble, after slightly less than two weeks (which is good average) in exactly the same condition as described, well-packed and also well-fixed within the package. (Which is rare these days, even with brand new books sent by large commercial retailers.) I am quite delighted. Based on this purchase I highly recommend this seller. Thank you!!
- g***n (229)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseItems were exactly as described and arrived very quickly. Great communication, I made an offer, but seller stuck to his price, which I respect, and after a week or so, thought about it and decided it was worth it. The items shipped which and I appreciate the sale. Thank you.Vintage Yearbook: Shadow 1989 Noblesville High School Noblesville Indiana (#365405238477)
