Greatest CD For Greatest Hits
I bought this many years ago and thought then as I do now, this is the Greatest, Greatest Hits CD I have ever bought. The sequence of the tracks is as good as the tracks themselves. Buy this, you will not be disappointed and will be an instant Allman Brothers fan (if you aren't already!)

Killer CD
There is not a bad cut on this CD. This CD will show you why the Allman Brothers were the gold standard that all other southern rock bands were measured against. What I found interesting was the Allman Brothers thought of themselves as a jazz band. You can definitely hear the jazz and progressive nature of their music on A Decade of Hits. I found it very hard to label the band after listening to this CD. It was much easier to enjoy the CD than analyze the music. I am not a devotee of the Allman Brothers or southern rock, but I loved this CD from the first cut to the last. HootieMcThere is not a bad cut on this CD. excellent cd
If you're an Allman Brothers Band, then this is the album for you. All their groovy music on one disc. This actually is the second time I purchased this cd due to the first one that I just tried playing a few days ago discovered that two tunes were scratched and i because i no longer have my turn table could not play my LPs to groove on the tunes. Brings back a whole lot of groovy memories.
