    Rockford Files 2ND Season DVD set.

    Great set of every episode of 2nd season, good quality plus has the original pilot episode that wasn't included in season 1 set for some reason. Most of the episodes are exciting and well written although with a show on every week there is a dud story here and there but not many duds here. James Garner is great as private investigator Jim Rockford.

    Rockford Is The Most Down To Earth Detective, Is Tops

    Maybe it's because he had his run in with the law that makes Rockford such a credible character, but Jim Rockford is the most believable down-to-earth detective of them all. I really like Beth Daveport character, portrayed by Gretchen Corbett in these first series. It's ashamed they cut her character after a pay dispute. The goons who come out of the woodwork after Rockford are here in real life if you turn over the wrong leaf! A little opening of a cold case or something, and they will appear for real.
