It works and serves the purpose.
I purchased the universal turn signal switch to replace on on my golf cart. My old one from the 70’s or 80’s failed. I tried to repair the original one, but I felt it was not worth it. Let me explain. The original one had copper contacts in it. You turn it to one side or another and two contact points make a connection like the manual arm closing the circuit. When you turn the flashers on, it closes both contacts together. This turn signal switch, when I opened it up, had a black plastic box in it, with a most likely cheaper design, inferior to the original. But it is what’s out there for these types of switch’s. It works, for how long I don’t know. I’m sure we all know when we replace something that worked for 30+ years, there is a good chance that it won’t be made as good as it was in ...
