The good news is that this is exactly the part I needed. The bad news is the seller had no idea about any of the details of the part. So I had to roll the dice. Could not even give me the length of the drive shaft. Was WAY overpriced, too. For those wondering if this might fit your edger, I have a 17 year old Sears Craftsman model # 536.772342. The shaft is 5 3/8 long (NOT 9 as listed), 17mm dia at bearing, uses 6203-2RS bearings, 1/8x1/2 woodruff key, 1/2 #20 thread nuts. Hope this helps.

Excellent shipping and packaging for transit. Unfortunately, the project owner for the rebuild project this tank was ordered for has elected to scrap the engine and cancel the rebuild. I am returning the item for credit, to the seller for refund to our shop.
