Only rode my motorbike 3 times with the wadding in but pretty sure it probably burnt up in the first ride. Item states "exhaust wadding" I did hold a lighter against it to test before I fitted it, it wasn't particularly flammable but it did melt away. I expected it to be fine in the exhaust but obviously not
