This spoiler extension is not a solid formed ABS or fiberglass part. It is more like a dense rubber material that requires you to heat it up to form to your factory spoiler. Thorough cleaning of the surface that you will be applying it to is crucial. Although I hade no problem with the double sided tape sticking to my vehicle, the tape has begun seperating from the spoiler extension itself.

If you followed all steps you wouldn't have a single problem. Everything you stated is answered prior to purchase. Please read product specifications. Mentioned under "item specifications" 1. Material: polyurethane rubber, 2. Install: warm up, 3. Included: Alcohol pads & Promoter, 4. Best method of install: warm up spoiler under sun, 5. Final: Masking tape 72 hours for corners so adhesive bonds properly.
