    For sure one of my new favorites now and forever.

    This concert is a wonderful piece of history in music. I have always loved acoustic GD, and this is perhaps my favorite even if it's not the longest. But I have all of those as well and enjoy them immensely. I think it's the emotion in his singing here in Jerry's story telling and the tight , virtuoso guitar playing, to me is more impressive than electric because it's harder. John Kahn was absolutely brilliant. Weaving and pulsing along , dropping deep bassy flurries and giving Jerry all the bottom end he would ever need. Two wonderful musicians who were one of a kind playing a great selection of bluesy, rootsy music.
