    Cheaper and easier then a rebuild

    Needed a good fix for my old Jari mower. Carb always gave me trouble so I just got this brand new one. Perfect fit, but I had to remove the choke spring because it didn't work with the set up on the Briggs engine. Other than that it fit perfect.

    Carb was faulty out of the box

    After putting the Carb on the engine would not start. I found the main jet had not been drilled through. Passing a drill bit the rest of the way through helped the engine would start but would not stay running . There is no way this product could have been tested prior to shipment. The worst quality control I have witnessed in 70 years.

    New Life for My Old B&S

    Very high quality, with mirror polished mounting flange. Includes gaskets. This was not a perfect fit but only because I had to adapt the throttle linkage and brass fuel tank tube length. The aluminum casting was perfect match though, so relocating the throttle bits from the old unit was a breeze!

    Great replacement carburetor for the price

    Not sure what was meant by compact. A 5hp Briggs carburetor is a 5hp Briggs carburetor. But this one is a great replacement. Bolted up perfectly. Started up and ran fine. I run a small engine repair business. And this is the carburetor I get when I need one for a customer.
