    Good fun!!!

    Typically, mostly hysterical, non-stop slap-stick and merry-making from Burnett and company. The entire cast is insane!!! Should be locked away in an asylum somewhere, but, then what would we do for entertainment? I have bought many Burnett shows and am always delighted with what I get. Wanna laugh? Get yourself some Carol Burnett show !!! They truly don't make TV like they used to....sadly.

    Too Little for such a Big Talent

    There are only 3 episodes (plus extras--I'd rather have more shows). While the shows are fun, they only left me wanting more. The Carol Burnett Show was one of the best variety shows on television with a million laughs. A real feel-good show. I'd rather watch reruns of the Carol Burnett Show than 99% of the new crap that passes for entertainment on TV today. It's worth seeing, but only whets the appetite for more Carol and really funny family comedy. Her shows were unexpected skits while today it's either Showtime comedy specials (usually too raw and not often funny) or sitcoms that mine the same material I Love Lucy mined decades ago. There are exceptions, like Modern Family, but there aren't many. More Carol!

    Funny show with censored parts

    DVD factory should disclose that certain words or images censored.. The Don Adams episode has the word "Polish" bleeped out??? Had to research to find what word bothered Time Warner so much.. I doubt this series will ever be released complete and unedited.. topics that were once safe now banned by the PC police

    Great Collection

    These videos are a window into the 60's and 70's, a time when hippies were new and laughter was easy. Carol always shines through as a sincere and ardent performer. Backed by an allstar cast, guest list and crew, this program out performs every other show in its day or since.

    Perfect gift for your STRESSED OUT friends!

    It's been a L-O-N-G day! If anything could go badly, it did. Your boss, customers, patients, etc. were unbearable!!!! Now you are finally at home in your recliner...You sit back and turn on the TV and start this wonderful DVD... Before you know it you are laughing out LOUD. You are relaxed and the only thing you are thinking about is the next vignette of hilarity. Gone are the worries of the day, the "permanent" frown and the tightness in your shoulders and back. Soon you are truly "at home". Things aren't so bad after all. CON: Some aching of your sides from extreme, tear-producing laughter. You will truly love this exuberant material!!!!
