    Happy Gilmore

    The hapless underdog hockey player turned golfer ... it's a pretty crude movie, but if you like Adam Sandler, this, IMHO is his funniest movie. The characters are broad and the plot is somewhat predictable, but for sheer laughs, you can't get much funnier than Happy Gilmore fighting Bob Barker in a classic scene, where 80 year old Barker gets the best of a 25 year old Gilmore! If you're looking for a diversion or some quick laughs, this is the movie to watch ... whenever I need a laugh I put this movie on and by the end of it I feel much better for having laughed out loud ... If you're not off put by profanity and crude jokes and predictability, then I recommend this film for some cheap laughs ...

    Happy Gilmore is Must Add to Sandler DVD Collection

    Happy Gilmore isn't Adam Sandlers best movie ever - but its up there. And part of whats great about Happy Gilmore is its absurdity - after all, this is a comedy about a professional hockey player turned golfer who drives the ball with a hockey stick (sure its legal!) and chases down Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald) for the #1 player on tour. Makes sense right? Anyhow, if you suspend all belief - its a good time and fun movie. The cameos are the best part too: Carl Weathers, Bob Barker, Lee Travino, etc. Happy Gilmore Cast Adam Sandler .... Happy Gilmore Christopher McDonald .... Shooter McGavin Julie Bowen ....     too funny

    I enjoy Adam Sandler so much. And I like that he uses his long time friends in all his movies. Goes to show there are still some out there whom appreciate where they came from and who was there for them then.

    I love watching Adam Sandler movies

    I remember watching this movie on tv, when I was a teenager. Also, I laughed so hard when, happy Gilmore fighting with bob barker at the golf course.

    The best Sandler film of all time

    A must own movie from the Master of Silly Comedy... Adam Sandler! This is Adam Sandlers best film in my opinion. The story is hilarious, original, and simply swell. Adam Sandler is great as Gilmore and is surrounded by another superb cast. This movie is funny, heartwarming, and teaches you a valuable lesson. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: A must buy, it's Sandlers best film
