How the writers came up with so many punch lines is beyond me! So much fun and so perfectly cast. Guaranteed to have you laughing all the way through. They sure don't make character actors like Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon anymore. Matthau's facial expressions say it all!

Grumpier Old Men (DVD, 1997)
Sequel to Grumpy Old Men. In this episode, John Gustafson (Lemon) and Ariel (Ann-Margret) are happily married and doing fine. Max (Matthau) and John are still constantly at eachother, as usual, and both tryinh to outsmart the other and catch their nemesis, "Catfish Hunter", a trophy fish that local anglers have been trying to catch for ages. When a beautiful Italian woman, Maria Ragetti (Sophia Loren), and her mother Francesca (Ann Morgan Guilbert) arrive in town and take over the local bait and tackle shop, only to announce that they're going to close it down and open an Italian restaurant in its place, Max tries all sort of tricks to foil their plans. John thinks that his friend needs a wife, and that Max and Maria might make a good match. Grandpa Gustafson (Burgess ... Sequel to Grumpy Old Men. In this episode, John Gustafson (Lemon) and Ariel (Ann-Margret) are happily married and doing fine. Sophia Lauren rounds out the cast that still feature Matheau and Lemmon, but the two old-timers almost steal the show-not the leading men, but the old dad and the old mama! More fun than a barrel of monkeys, with no less than six romantic family matters! A good case against too much inbreeding....LOLWow! Add romance, business, a wedding, and-of course-fishing together, and you've got the makings of trouble...and funny stuff! Sophia Lauren rounds out the cast that still feature Matheau and Lemmon, but the two old-timers almost steal the show-not the leading men, but the old dad and the old mama! One reason I love the movie Grumpier Old Men because of its got a great cast. From Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau Ann-Margret Sophia Loren how can you go wrong. The humor of Burgess Meredith is so great. This is a sequel and it is just as good as Grumpy Old Men. Every time I watch this movie I still laugh. I have both Grumpy Old men and Grumpier old men on vhs I wanted to get these great movies on dvd. I recommend this movie to any one who wants to laugh and laugh.One reason I love the movie Grumpier Old Men because of its got a great cast. Great movie at a very low price!
I bought this movie years ago and it brought so much laughter to my family that we just had to have it for our library so we could see it over and over again. This sequel to Grumpy old Men has such a great story line that gets better and more funny as the movie goes on. We grew up the most hilarious of comedians Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. Actresses Ann-Margret and Sophia Loren are very comical to watch in this very whimsical and delightful movie. It is sure to bring laughter to anyone's home.I bought this movie years ago and it brought so much laughter to my family that we just had to have it for our library so we could see it over and over again.
