    The iPad 2 Was a Good Choice for My Granddaughter

    I bought the Apple iPad 2 for my 4 year old granddaughter. She can already use it well and loves to play games and watch videos. The battery gives her a lot of time to play and recharges every night. I am very happy with the purchase and may buy another one in the future.

    A worthy competitor for Samsung tablets

    My wife owns a Samsung Galaxy Note 10" tablet, running Android. I purchased the Apple product largely because I wanted a larger screen for reading ebooks, and for the 32GB capacity to accommodate games for myself and the grandkids. I especially enjoy playing strangers on the 8 Ball app. I surprised myself by getting upgraded to a 17 vs. my former 14 while playing on a 7" Kindle Fire tablet. To me, the extra storage capacity, long battery life, and larger screen make this unit a very good value, at about 1/2 the price of a comparable Samsung tablet.

    Great Refurb - Kid loves it & its durable

    This thing is great. We bought it to replace my daughter's 1st gen iPad after I accidently knelt on the screen - oops. the 1st gen no longer supported the apps that she wanted and didn't run all that smooth w/ the ones that it did support. Anyways - I'm sure other reviewers can do better w/ the spec's and processor speed & whatnot - This one works great for us, it supports all the apps/games my daughter, 4yo, uses and does not crash on them. screen is large & resolution is very good and it is very durable. I like the bigger screen for her so I don't have to worry so much about her developing eye problems from looking at a tiny screen. we have a beefy case on it that I only spent $15 on (not an otterbox or anything expensive) & it has survived many drops from the table (onto hardwood) ...
