Always use industrial batteries&buy in bulk
Bought 2 dollar general brand D Alkaline batteries for 3 dollars. Just bought 24 D Procell batteries the expire years from now for 26 bucks. Significantly cheaper than generic store brand batteries that don't last. This goes for all batteries. If you need 4 AA batteries for something, buy some industrial or procell batteries in bulk. I only buy batteries every few years and its because i buy 24-48 at a time. The more you buy, the cheaper it is, the less you have to worry about ripoffs

Good product, good price. Poorly packaged.
The batteries are black with a gray stripe wrapping around it. Not the usual black and gold or black and yellow color. I called Duracell and they assured me they are genuine, not a knockoff. It’s just the way the industrial version of the battery looks. Good price and shipping time. My only complaint is the box of batteries was put in a bigger box, but with one small piece of bubble wrap, NOT NEARLY enough to keep the box of batteries from bouncing around in the box it was shipped in. The box of batteries opened in the bigger shipping box and banged around against each other during shipping. I checked each one with a tester, and they seem ok. More wrap is needed to prevent damage during shipping though.

Great battery at a greater price
I've been using these Duracell Procell D batteries for a couple years now in my garage where I installed 3 battery power motion LED lights. Even being in the midwest with the extremely cold winters I still get at least 6-8 months easily before I replace them. Well worth the money

We love Duracell batteries !!!
Great batteries !! Put some to use immediately upon receipt of my order. All had good charge and a shelf life date, out 5 years into the future :) As a retired fire chief, we used Duracell at the station. We appreciate the fact that when a tornado hit an area close to us - Duracell was there - taking care of the public, as well as first responders !! For this - I will never buy anything but Duracell batteries - period !!

PROCELL is the same battery as the Copper Top
They're just packaged differently and cost less because they're sold in bulk. If you use a lot of batteries, PROCELL is the way to go. From Duracell: "They are technically identical to the consumer copper top versions, however they are branded and packed differently. They are not available through retail consumer outlets, which helps reduce stock losses due to pilferage, especially for larger organisations. Distribution is only through a limited range of industrial distributors. The batteries are packed and sold in carton quantities. Cartons are cardboard, and batteries are not individually wrapped or sealed. This packaging is more economical than blister packs, so prices are lower than for the blister-packed Duracell consumer range."
