      Lightweight and easy to break

      I hate that the door handle I had broke by just pulling it open. Obviously the manufacturer knew the door handle breaks and so that is why there is extra you can buy. Just have to be careful when opening the door to keep it from happening again.

      Wanted to buy OEM part. Listing inferred the item was a new and genuine whirlpool product. It isn’t! Fit is ok Finish is ok, but you can see the difference Original part has soft pad inner side that’s missing. Only time will tell if it holds up. Would have bought a cheaper replacement elsewhere if I had known it wasn’t OEM.

      Door Handle for Kenmore Elite HE 1- 3 Dryer.

      It is the same quality I have been getting at the appliance stores, for a lot less. It is not top quality but OEM is not any better. I put JB weld around where the screws mounts the handle and that helps it from breaking to soon. I have replaced the handle on our Kenmore dryer HE 1 about 3 - 4 times.

      Fit well, but broke quickly

      It fit well and was not hard to install. Unfortunately, the part only lasted four months before it broke. On all of these handles, even the original, the weak point is where it screws into the handle. That's where it broke. Now I am going to spend more to try a genuine handle and see if that will last longer.
