Far bigger improvement than I had hoped for
The stock bridge had lost much of its gold luster and one of the screws had to be replaced after it seized and the head broke off. I had been resisting the urge to plug and redrill the post holes so I could use a Gibson compatible bridge. Then I found this Kluson. It was, literally, a drop in replacement. Surprise#1 was how much nicer it looked than the original. Not just the shine, but the machining was far superior to the original, which looked every bit the cast hunk of metal that it was. A little thinner, which I like. A bit more like my LP. Surprise #2 was the improvement in the tone, which was completely unexpected. It had almost a bell like clarity that I don't ever recall from this Sheraton. I had considered selling this guitar after tending to its minor cosmetic flaws, ... Perfect replacement for Samick Epiphone Sheraton II
This was an exact fit for my Sheraton II. The E to E spacing is slightly wider than the stock unit, but does not position the E strings to close to the edge of the fingerboard. Highly recommended!
