Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Heroes is the twelfth studio album by the iconic singer/songwriter, originally released on RCA Records in October 1977. The second installment of his Berlin Trilogy recorded with Brian Eno and Tony Visconti, Heroes continued the ambient experiments of Bowie's previous album Low (released earlier that year) and featured the contributions of King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp. Of the three albums, it was the only one wholly recorded in Berlin. Recorded at Hansa Tonstudio in what was then West Berlin, Heroes reflected the zeitgeist of the Cold War, symbolized by the divided city. Co-producer Tony Visconti considered it "one of my last great adventures in making albums.

    Greatest Bowie album ever released to the public

    Side 2 is great ambient music, like for everyday. Just great, pure tones and sounds. It's probably Bowie and Eno's best (as far as I can hear). Sure beats Music for Airports. Side 1 is just as great, future pop music brought to you today by Alomar, Bowie, Eno, and Fripp. It's an all-star cast of musicians at the top of their career rewarding their people with some of the greatest ambient future pop every committed to record. Highly recommended, a very rewarding album that requires a lifetime of listens to comprehend. Reinvents the term "Long Player" to the listener's reward.

    Amazing care for shipping!!

    Despite the dent on the cover (which was also described in the product). The care for the vinyl was amazing! Pretty much wrapped the whole thing twice or three times to make sure there was no damages done from shipping.

    Bowie's Best

    Heroes is not only my favorite Bowie song, it's my favorite album. I bought this the day it became available upon it's original release. That copy is long since lost so I was thrilled to learn of this reissue. Wonderful pressing, better than the original!
