    Low quality part buy the bolt on kit

    I originally found these but didn’t do my research to see the bolt in pin kit. These were wobbly and did not fit tight and snug. I was refunded. The people on the other end are nice. But the bolt on kit is the way to go. Don’t waste your money on other kits. These should not even be an option.

    You get what you pay for

    Although Dorman products aren’t considered the best quality aftermarket part company (Chinese), this specific kit is really a bad design and total waste of money. (even by their standards). Buy the dorman bolt on kit # 38453. Much better quality, but substantially more expensive. This cheap kit covers upper and lower (one complete door). The bolt on kit mentioned requires two kits. So to simplify, you need two kits to do the same thing this kit is offering with one. To do this it will be well over double the cost. Don’t be cheap, and just spend the money. You’ll thank me later. (Especially if you have priced replacement hinges from GM. Have fun!
