The best source of Takamine acoustic preamps
I purchased the CT4 DX preamp to replace a Cool Tube CTP2 which an authorized dealer repair center deemed inoperable. Turns out the CTP2 still works fine, so now I have two different flavors of preamp. They both do different things. I do like the tube warmth of the CTP2 but the CT4 DX is my favorite of the two. Surgical parametric EQ with 18-volt headroom makes for a versatile palette of sounds. That said, I usually leave the preamp set for a solid natural sound. Highly recommended. Most importantly, the service and support of AddictedToTone is BEYOND highly recommended!
