great movie
Love the movie, wish the 3d used the modern type of 3d glasses instead of red and blue type. The glasses that come with the movie are kid sized. 3d works but with the colored glasses, the image isn't very bright so you have to adjust you tv for contrast and brightness to watch it.

A Must Own for Your Blu-Ray Collection
Coraline is to Halloween as Elf is to Christmas. This is a movie that you will continue to get enjoyment from for many years. This Movie is more polished than A Nightmare Before Christmas, IMHO. The atmosphere created is very rich with delicious refined flavor. Sounds great on the 7.1 Surround. The Blu-Ray addition is my favorite to date right up there with HellBoy II. Personally I prefer when the movie picture uses up all the real estate my LCD has to offer. Great movies like Iron Man, Batmans, etc give me a wide angle on an already wide screen, go figure! Anyways, buy Coraline enjoy it forget about the 3D its a joke. Only 3D worth watching is in the movie theaters where they use 2 projectors to create the real deal. I bought my disk used for 14 bucks. Coraline Great! ( 3d version "eh" )
I bought this because I wanted try the 3d glasses on the plasma. I hadn't seen this in the theater, so I don't know if they used the so called "real D". The dvd comes with those glasses that filter blue on one side and red on the other ( not real D" ) . We got the Blu Ray which has both versions. The 2D is great. Great story great graphics. The 3d gave me a head ache.
