Having flown out of Aviano AB, Italy in the 1970's, I found it interesting that in the movie, when the military and civilian brass using Tom Berenger as a sniper, said they were at Aviano AB, Sicily. The island of Sicliy is part of Italy, but there is no Aviano AB there. As I recall, there is a US Navy installation there named Sigonella which is close to the foot of Mt. Etna. And, the food there is good (the Navy has always had the best food of any branch of service). Who wrote the script? Obviously not a historian of any kind. Nevertheless, I will watch it again someday. It held my attention. Poor sniper scenario
This movie is barely mediocre in plot. The title implies a major emphasis on sniper topics, but it is little more than a 21st century 'B Western' from 1945.

Great Sniper movie.
Sniper 2 is by far my personal favorite of the 3 Sniper movies, followed by the first in the series, and then Sniper 3. It was very well done, with lots of action, shooting scenes, Tom Berenger was awesome, as was Dennis Arndt as his spotter in this sequel. I would highly recommend this movie.

I am a really big Tom Berenger fan, the first sniper movie was great ans the second was just as good. If you like Sniper movies this one is for you. Also another great movie is Shooter. Hoo Rahh Marine Corps!!!
