This power specification makes shredding, slicing, chopping, dicing, mincing, and grating possible with the press of the laminated buttons. Don't be concerned about this kitchen machine having too much power, because it comes with suction-cup feet to prevent sliding and an interlock system for blades, its bowl, and other components. With a nearly 6-pound weight, the FP1600B food processor model by Black & Decker remains in place as you cook each day.Processing fruits and vegetables is convenient and easy with its 8-cup capacity work bowl. These Black & Decker food processors come with an approximately 8-inch translucent bowl so that you see the food changing sizes as the stainless steel parts perform their work. Great Slicer
The best thing about this item is it's ability to do what you can't: to slice fruit and veggies faster than you can. It does that well, cleans super easily, and is both lightweight and easy to use. It handles and operates much more smoothly without any fidgeting across a broad range of users. Still made in China, so I'm unsure of how long it will last, but the plastics being used are much more durable than 15 years ago, in general, so that works to their advantage. It's just ok
So I bought this item because I needed a food processor. I didn't want anything too expensive and too cheap. I thought this would be fine. Well it is sort of. It doesn't always chop everything up into tiny pieces. You find large bits in the somewhat powdery mix. So you have to keep processing and hope that it finally processes everything where sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Also, when it spins, everything goes up where the blade is on the bottom unable to chop the stuff thats up. The only way I can describe it is, it's kind of like a tornado with everything just spinning. Don't get me wrong it does chop but it doesn't chop up everything. It doesn't matter whether you pulse it or just go full force. I'll eventually end up buying a different one. This one won't last long. So I bought this item because I needed a food processor. As a retired chef I have used many food processors professionally and owned food processors for personal use. At this price level I could not pass on the offer. The size makes it handy to have on the counter top at all times and the volume (2 quarts) makes it versatile enough for daily domestic kitchen work. Because of the low price I was thinking there was a great chance that I was going to be disappointed but much to the contrary. I am considering buying a few more for my children. This is a great food processor. It does a great job with chopping, slicing, dicing and puree. It's not too big and it's not too small for the jobs I have used it for so far. It cleans up quickly and nicely, it has some sort of anti stain component so every time I wash it, the bowl still looks brand new! The suction cups on the bottom really work and provide stability. I like the hide away cord as well. It can be a little noisy but that's okay with me. I highly recommend this.This is a great food processor.
