Wheel of the Year - A Guide for Living the Magical Life
The thing I love about eBay is that it allows one to re-acquire those things lost in the past -- at a great price. This book is case in point. During one of my -- religion periods -- I got rid of this book but have found as the years went by that I missed it. What I missed about it was that it was a guide to the seasons and how life once was and how it could be again for me. Pauline Campanelli goes into the celebrations of the seasons with lovely illustrations and language that points to the home in the heart. Much like Simple Abundance, she gives ideas for each season, such as quilting in January, corn dollies in February, a Maypole in May, going to the beach in July, baking bread in August, raising a wine toast in September and the Yule log in December. For the witch with children!
I used this book many years and have now passed it on to my own children to use with their children. A wonderful way to get involved with the Sabbats and to actually learn about their meanings and practices. Filled with a wealth of information on every one of them. Easy to read and understand even for the beginner. Another on my top ten list of books!

Great author.
I have read a few of her books and despite this one getting rained on I peeled the pages apart to read it. It is another great guide. Another basic but not generic. It is engaging and the pages turn faster than you think they are.
