Bibleman DVD Vol. 2
The Bibleman videos/DVD's are wonderful for the Christian family who is trying to put in front of their children something a bit more spirital. The TV shows & cartoons offer nothing like this (unless you subscribe to Sky Angel) so having something like Bibleman for the kids to latch on to and look up to is a big PLUS in my book. There is also a Bibleman Jr. targeting younger kids (~ages 3-7). We do own one of those videos. But, our 7 year old daughter and 10 year old son both enjoy and LOVE the Bibleman shows. In fact they want to go see him live. Sadly, he retired the Bibleman character and is doing other things now. No matter, we will contune to purchase the Bibleman DVD sets and enjoy the Biblical based shows they provide. If you are looking for a character and a show that ... Read The Book, Avoid Bibleman
The concept of a superhero with deputies similar to Batman and the Green Hornet who comes to the aid of those threatened by forces of evil from a biblical point of view is a good one, but this attempt at it not a good one. It is not all bad, but what is bad is very bad. The characters are bad, sometimes extremely bad. It does not take itself seriously It doesn't deliver what it promises, but only plays around the edges. It ultimately damages the very thing that it pretends to uphold. It is not very useful to the the parents of children that it is intended for and likely to be fodder for those who are opposed to biblical values and wish to laugh at them.
