I read this set of books 20 years ago, at least 5 times. It is like an adventure in another time + place. Like a vacation. I'd never seen it available in one book prior to this. I'm thrilled...my old single copies were lost ages ago. LOVE IT.... Janine

If you like arthurian sagas this book is a find. There are 4 books in the series The Crystal Cave, The Hollow Hills, The Last Enchantment,the last being The Wicked Day all are very good reads but i would suggest read them in the order of publication the flow is better. Keep in mind that this is a fiction book, although the historical facts are correct the author has add alot to the book that is not. Wouldn't be writing a research paper with it is what i mean. This book had me from page one. Great read.If you like arthurian sagas this book is a find. Merlin lives.
Great trilogy of Merlin and the Arthurian legend. Read all three of these in paperback back in my college days and really enjoyed them. I look forward to reading all three of them again in one hardback book.

Beautiful book; still had the receipt inside the pages - probably never read. However, the print is so small, I can't read it. When combining three books, I guess that is what happens, but not something I thought about. Oh well.
