    green eggs and ham

    Both my 4 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter loved this book when I read it to them.....with feeling! My just turned 6 year old granddaughter can read it all the way through only stumbling on a few of the words. Great book with a moral to the story. When I asked them about that they knew it meant you have to try it before you say you don't like it.

    "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Suess is sheer brilliance. I give 8 thumbs up to Dr. Suess for bringing us this magical poetry that will have you in tears by the end of the book. Join the Dr. in his creative imagination and jump into the world of adolescence. This is an unusual genre told through imagery and rhyming dialogue. You have not truly lived until you have read "Green Eggs and Ham." In the story the main character Sam-I-am persistently tries to get an unnamed character to try green eggs and ham. In this adventure you will join teams with Sam-I-am and encourage the foolishness of green eggs and ham.     Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss

    From a thirty year experience of teaching children in their early childhood years, I have found this to be a consistent favorite read-aloud. Its repetition delights young ears and builds listening skills. It also teaches in a most preposterous way that trying new foods may turn out to be the best experience ever! I had purchased the stuffed animal character from the book and needed a copy of the book for my grandson's personal library. Can hardly wait until his birthday to present him with his very own copy....and then making those infamous green eggs and ham as a breakfast treat! What a joy and pleasure to share such age appropriate literature with young children! lindab830

    Green Eggs and Ham

    Every child must have this book. It doesn't matter what age group, it's fun to read, and also easy for children to read. The story has personality, as the child can easily read the with their personality. It's enjoyable, even an adult would like one in their home, adults like reading it as well! This is MUST buy book. It's been around for a long time and it seems to still be very popular in the 2000's. Thank you for implementing and writing this fun reading book. The CD makes it twice as enjoyable.

    Fantastic story - no children's library should be without it!

    This is a fantastic, classic Dr. Seuss book! It's been a long-time favorite of mine and I have bought copies for my own children and all my nieces and nephews, as well - to start building their home libraries. I've spent hours reading and re-reading this story and the fun and whimsical characters never get old! I highly recommend this book for anyone who has children or has regular contact with children. No personal library is complete without this fun story! Plus, there's a lesson to be learned - don't judge an item just by it's looks or name. Important for children (and adults) of all ages to remember!
