The part fit, but the bolts on the old part would not fit into new part. This is a 1984 chevy k10, so the part I replaced may not have been the original, so therefore bolts may not have been original. I have not seen any review about this part stating that the bolts would not work. I just went to hardware store and bought bolts that would fit, and replaced old part. Works like it should, looks and feels like it will last a long time.
