    OK but not that great.

    Although the disc was put out in 2003, the performance is from 1988. the sound quality is not too bad for a live performance recording; perhaps the small hall (you can see it in the video), helped in that respect. The English subtitles leave something to be desired. They cover most of the thrust of the arias, but leave out incidental dialogue that could add to the enjoyment of the story. It has its high points but overall, the performance is uninspired. If you like Rossini or the Barber, it will be enjoyable, but not one of the best renditions.
