    simply put.....GREAT

    This movie is based off of a book by V.C. Andrews of the same name.....and involves four children getting locked up in an attic due to the fact that a rich grandparent feels they are devil spawn, and actually tries to kill them by slipping arsnic in their chocolate chip cookies......it's an amazing book and a even greater movie the woman that plays the grandmother is very like the one in the book...evil.................you must watch this movie

    Must see...

    If youve never seen this before, you have to get it and view at least once. 4 borthers and sisters are sent to thier grandmother after thier mother cannot afford to raise them. This huge mansion...but the grandmother has something in store for them. Alot of cruelty in this film. But a must see. The grandmother is the lady who played Nurse Ratchet from "One Flew over the Cuckoo Nest."

    Great older movie

    this was one of my favorite movies that first came out on vhs tape. The people that are in this movie did and excellent job playing their parts. It is so much better on dvd than it was on tape. If you have not seen this movie I suggest it to anyone that would like to see it.
