  • Clyde McCoy Wah

The Holy grail of Wah pedals. Don't waste your time buying remakes or re-issues because nothing sounds as good as the real deal original Clyde McCoy Wah. They just don't make them the way they used to do. You get what you pay for in life and real Clydes are well worth the money. It's what Jimi and Eric used. John Cippolina also used a Clyde to get some of the greatest acid rock tones ever heard, on all those Quicksilver messenger service albums. I have over 12 original Vox Clydes in my collection that I treasure..

  • Solid Wah Wah Pedal

The VOX V848 "The Clyde McCoy" Wah Wah Pedal is a reissue that was made for a couple of years in the 2000's. It's basically your standard Wah Wah Pedal except it has the axiomatic "RED" Fasel Inductor which is what gives this pedal such a pleasant tone. I have a Jim Dunlop GCB-95 Wah Wah Pedal that, for some reason (made in 2012) has the "RED" Fasel Inductor too. Both Wah Wah Pedals sound almost identical so I believe it's true, the Fasel Inductor is the heart of the Wah. If you are looking for a really good used Wah go with this Clyde McCoy or one with the Fasel Inductor.
