    One Good Old Western

    I have seen this movie " They Died With Boots On " many as a young kid and now again in my older age of 71, I still find the film every good in many ways. I like Errol Flynn as General Armstrong Custer every much and I always loved history very much of early America and West. A find movie for its time. God bless, both side of all who lost their life at battle of Little Big Horn, in real life. Very nice film. 5 out 5 winner.

    Excellent quality DVD and excellent story line.

    Not historical but a very entertaining movie that hits most of the emotions, happy and warm but sad on many levels. The characters were well chosen. You will feel the love and longing in the characters hearts but hate the greed...wishing it were not so.

    they died with their boots on

    Though not historically accurate. The charm of the movie and chemistry between Errol and Olivia is undeniable. It is a movie that one can not stop watching once one starts. The movie itself starts out rather light hearted and rather comedic and gets more serious and dramatic as time moves on and finally ends tragiclaly. The final scene in which they appear together is especially poingnat as it would be the last time Errol and Olivia would work together.The last scene in the film illustrates the pain both of them felt plainly, for in life they both adored each other but their love went unrequited for many reasons. It was indeed the end for them as screen team. The tenderness and heart break of that scene is worth the price of the DVD alone. get it You won't be dissapointed
